Curvilinear Motion

 

In this section we will study the motion of particles that are restricted to move in a 2-D plane. The motion of the particles will be analyzed though kinematic analysis (i.e. the study of a body's motion without regard to the forces that generate that motion).

 

Vectors will feature prominently in describing 2-D motion. Therefore, scalars and vectors will be represented using a different font style.
